mistakes & blunders we've made in life.. love.. friendship.. and other relationships..

big or small, they are life experiences just the same..

feelings of guilt.. regrets.. embarrassment.. we've all been there.. done that..

time to confess..

^^ i regret having my first boyfriend at such a young age (14yrs.old).. that relationship lasted 5yrs.. i didn't get to enjoy my high school days as much as i wanted to coz my world revolved around my bf..

i lost touch with my high school barkada coz most of my time was spent w/ my bf.. wish i could have managed my time more.. c",)

wasted 5 years with that jerk.. but i'm now glad i got over him.. that was 4 yrs. ago pa..

i regret saying "yes" to my first boyfriend who decided to be a priest 4 days before our third monthsary...anyway im over him a long time ago...very happy with my present relationship now

one thing i'm not proud of is having my first kiss w/ a guy who's much older than me.. and was not even my boyfriend.. at age 12.. haha..

not only was it awkward.. it was NOT romantic at all.. not to mention that i really have no idea what i was doing.. having him stick his tongue into my mouth (na murag lapis) is a 1st-time experience that i'd rather forget.. c",)

@makathy and Ljane, since this is a confessional thread shouldn't the operative verb be "confess" rather than "regret"?

Like, I confess that I often take for granted the love of my family, especially of my maternal grandparents who helped raised me. As they face now the wane of their lives, into that gentle good night I just wish I could do more in making them happy now as they did making me happy when I was a child!

I confess that as a friend I do have insecurities. My friends are few but ever so kind, I feel guilty thinking that I've not been such a good friend to them as they are to me.

yet.. for me, admitting to one's mistake is another form of confessing isn't it? the admission of having done something wrong.. the acknowledgement of feelings.. i think that one is entitled to confess or admit one's mistake at his/her own pace.. c",)

ako, i regret letting her go.... sa 5+ years namu i thought nawala ang ako feelings para niya but i was wrong.... and now i want her back... just don't know how...

@makathy, Other than a posting member here sa iStorya, I am also a site keeper and it's my duty to enforce the rules and if people keep posting their regrets in their relationships, both past and present in this thread, I might as well MERGE this thread with another previous thread I know that exist that discusses and deals one's regrets with love.

And this is such a good thread. Let us please give it its own individuality, shall we?

Back on Topic, I confess that in most of my interactions with of my relationships with friends and family I have personal, ulterior motives. Though love and concern is always paramount, there's always another directive(often rational, sometimes be taken as cold) that guides my actions especially when it comes to living and giving with my love ones.

I feel it's a mistake especially when loving family, there shouldn't be no conditions at all.

one of my biggest mistakes was putting my (ex) bf my priority instead of my family & school.. i was like "it's you and me against the world".. haha.. transferred school for him.. which in turn i lost many of my friends.. the good thing though was that i gained new friends.. and that it happened a lone time ago that i was able to get my life and my head back on track.. c",)
