Sa HOI, guba tanan cymbals except sa kato ila high end room. Ok ang amps. Mejo sige feedback ang vocals kay gagmay ang kwarto.

Lagi bai, pasencya sa mga banda pero lisod man gud apas ug palit mga cymbals, mahal kaayo and daghan sad di kahibalo muhapak na mga guba dayon. but we do try to keep all our equipments in check.

and di na mahihap pila ka drumsticks ang nangabuak or pila ka guitar strings nangaputol and not to mention bass guitar strings! (wtf? ang 4th ug 5th pajud!!)

i hope the bands would understand that a lot goes into taking care of the stuff..if our equipment isnt in top condition, its YOUR fault. be considerate to us and most importantly to other bands. our rates are extremely low and we would hate to raise our prices so we could buy more cymbals for you to destroy..(unless mao jud na inyo ganahan?)

as far as mufeedback ang mic sa kwarto...its coz kusog kaayo inyo volume. amoa amps kay pang outdoor so no point in having it at full volume, so magsige sad apas ang volume sa vocals, mao na mu feedback..i guess mao pud kusog muhapak ang drummer para madungog lang siya.

youre just rehearsing, you dont have to get all crazy with the volume. keep that in mind.

ako pag jam naku diha sa house of indies... I admit dismayado koh...

naka limut kog dala ug drumsticks so ni try kog huwam... they said kailangan e rent..

so I rented and ask how much? 50 php for drumsticks... naka ana koh... ("laah to much naman pud kaau nah mura naman pud kog ni palit ug low class nga drumsticks") but kailangan man jud...

so ni sugot nalang koh.... ang naka dismaya ug maau bro....

Kana pajung Nipis na kaau nga kabali-on nah kaau ang drumstick ge hatag.....

to think first time pajud to naku nah jam ngadto.... maka ila man pud tingali mo sa mga kusog ug dili kama-o mo hapak nga pataka lang ug hapak ngadto... so sad...

Bag-o lng me nkajam sa HOI. i think last july 20.
didto me sa tag 200. it was my 1st time there.
i realy appreciate their bass amp kay naa tuner and the drums as our drummer says.
dont know sa guitars coz we bring our own. the mic, mejo hinay ra pero madaladala ra man.

We used to charge only P20 for stick rental and that was when we were charging P200/hour for rehearsal. We cut the rate down to P150/hour and still only charged P20 for stick rental. Sad to say, a lot of the bands abuse our equipment and we cant cover the expenses - the sticks being one of those equipments. So, rather than raising our rates back (and have all the bands pay for the other bands faults), we just increased the rental prices for sticks since that was the main problem.

Amazingly, its not always that easy to tell which drummers know how to hit. As far as the quality of the sticks..again, its not our fault, it was the band before you that rented those sticks, not us (and you should know that we aren't renting out just any generic cheap a** sticks...those actually break more often and end up costing more). Do you really expect we rent out new sticks every time? If money was no object then it wouldn't be a problem, however, thats not the case now, is it?

I'm glad this discussion is taking place. We love criticism and we would want to improve each bands experience here. But you know, it's easy to point to us and tell us that we aren't taking care of the customers properly nor do we take care of our facility right. See it from our point of view..we want to promote the music scene here and were doing that by having our rates really low so any band can come in..BUT, we have a lot of expenses and if you haven't seen yet, we are looking at the big picture, and that is: KEEPING THE RATES LOW. Sure, you may spend an extra P50 for drumstick rental, but do you do that every time? No. (By the way, we also charge P20 for guitar strings..and do you guys break the strings each time as well? No.)

Bottom line is, we can't do it alone. If you (I'm not directing this post solely at you rAnzter but to all the bands) want a better experience here at our studio, keep in mind the next time you come in that someone is going to rent after you guys. Now, do you want to be known as the band that caused us to raise our prices back? I wouldn't.

yeah, kay tungod sa layout sa room. suppose to be, ang room kay pang recording ra jud. kinda weird man ug layout..if dapit ka sa marshall amp near the piano and angle ang p.a. then ok ra pakusgan gamay ang volume but if any other place, mufeedback gamay ang mic so mao kinahanglan hinayan gamay para di sakit sa inyo dungan.

ingna lang nya mi kung kinahanglan adjust ang volume, ang uban bands kay ang gain man gud ang pakusgan mao sad mufeedback, pwede raman ang faders lang..

House Of Indies: Maygani ZBT ug ZXT ra imong gipagamit para jam jam. Pero buot huna-hunaon, alkansi lang gihapon kay gamay rang ang bayad sa renta, dili maka bawi sa bu-ak nga cymbals. Mahal na kaayo ang mga cymbals rong panahona, maayo sab unta nga mo respetar ug mga gamit ang mo jam diha sa inyo. Pero di gyud malikayan ning mga drummer nga pwerteng kusuga mo bunal murag naay kalagot sa drumset.

Kana sab ang sticks - ako pa nimo, adtog tornohan.. pag dala ug sample nya pagpa torno nalang ug sticks para ipa gamit sa mga way sticks. Ngita lag kahoy nga pataas ang grano.
