not sure about that,
from P1 to P2, the gap is 10 years
from p2 to p3, the gap is less than 5 years
from p3 to p4, gap is less than 1 year
from p4 to PD-DC-C2D/c2q/c2e - less than 6 months.

theyve already made a prototype, it means they've done it already.
next thing is stability check then mass production.

You never know naa na cguro na ang 80-core BEFORE Christmas.

But seriously I'm just awed by the way Intel has been flexing its muscle lately. I mean there products from the Core 2 Duo and beyond are very impressive. At the rate Intel is going I might just get myself a Core 2 Duo or a Quad Core for Christmas, and relegate my AMD X2 4000+ as a torrent machine.
