miss venezuela..... very pretty and had a good answer!
both venezuela and colombia! pretty jud au cla
love this year's pageant. most latinas spoke english during the Q&A. and mel b of the spice girls was a co-host. i love the spice girls. lol.
i think the reason why they took off the miss photogenic award is because it's always likely that miss philippines will win the award. miss philippines has been bagging the award for 3 years since 2005. personally i think the award is irrelevant and it would've been embarrassing if we won the award.
i hope miss philippines enters the top 5 next year.![]()
di gyud na mahitabo nga bisag usa ka latina di ma sud sa top 15 sa miss u or any other byuty pageant....grabeha ani nila sah..hehe
as a matter of fact, it was right on the money!
miss venezuela was asked who have it easier in life, men or women?
she pointed it out clearly. MEN.
women had to go through tumultuous "curves" in life. she had to fix these "curves" because that's the way a woman lives her life. she cares. she desires peace. she wants order.
Most men, on the other hand, don't care. what matters to him is the goal. he'll do whatever it takes to achieve his goal in the fastest possible way (straight line).
I know that it's been a couple of weeks since the culmination of the event but for the sake of objectivity here's my take on Miss U's answer:
the fastest possible way (straight line) doesn't necessarily mean "the easiest" route. add to that, you don't have to be a man nor a woman in order for you to CHOOSE which way to go because both have FREE WILL and thus are capable of deciding which way is the best way to go. a man can take the "long and winding path" just as a woman can take the "straight route". so basically, Miss U's answer could go either way...
BUT if she threw in this phrase "that women have been discriminated against" somewhere in there then that would make more sense on why men had it easier in life. remember, it wasn't too long ago that women were not allowed to vote, not allowed to hold top positions in companies, not even allowed to work and even in fact just relegated to household chores etc etc...
even until today, sexism still exists in some societies in the world thus supporting the point I just raised.
she has the best answer during the pageant and she hit the answer...sakto ang iyang tubag para nako.....
tinuod daw nga ang candidate from venezuela before ipada sa mga pageant kay i retoke nlng daan.....?
