uhhm, if you're in love with someone then it outrightly precludes being in love with somebody else at the same time, sicne i think the very notion of being in love precludes the projection of such strong romantic feelings unto more than one subject...

such process of falling in love with someone would, in a way, weaken the previously similar feelings you had for another.. if you are sincerely in love with your partner for some time already, and out of a sudden find yourself starting to fall deeply in love with somebody else, then it seems contradictory to say that you still love your partner in the same way you used to..
