simple.. a girl isn't interested entirely w/ you if:

She doesnt give a damn thing about you, whether you exist or not.
she always finds ways to elude you or make alibis when you ask her out
she simply and practically wish you would just go and die!..
she cajoles and makes ill fated remarks or jokes, calling you mascot names and etc.

Plain truth: if she's really not interested w/ you.. then you really have to take her word for it. It's an eye-opener that she doesnt like you or even spend a minisecond w/ you.. Period

If she's just playing hard to get.. trust your gut instincts.. surely a girl would be gullible enough to trust and express or professing her feelings to you.. (if she's just playing hard to get that is..) eventually... it's only a matter of time.

lets take it from incubaby's side;

if i don't like the guy, i really won't give a damn attention. if he ask for my number, i won't give it. if he happened to know my number by chance, i only reply his message once & after that i will not bother anymore even if he sends millions of messages everyday. if he wishes to go out, i will simply dump the invitation.. plain and simple.. i'll say am too busy for going out

if playing hard-to-get w/c i did to my hubby before we ended up together, well... i give time yet no specifics.. lets just say i commit to a dinner date, i won't go there at exactly on the time we agreed.. worst case is i go & meet him on 11th hour i do give him extra sweetness and tenderness.. or care2x kunuhay but not really dig into it.. hehehe.. basta.. just enjoying the moment while not giving certain answeres on questions pertaining to settling down..!
