help! error message pops up everytime during startup of pc

yup, naay "name.exe"
naka limot lang ko sa name ato. so does that mean virus tingali if ingani?

check msconfig, look for name.exe sa startup items then uncheck it. also try to check add/remove programs, uninstall the program from there.

also try digging in the registry, check the following hives:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Run
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Run

if you find name.exe, delete it para completely removed ang entry bisan sa msconfig. i hope this helps.

i also found out that when i choose view hidden files in the folder options, i am not allowed to do so.

last week ni gasugod. daghan manko gi dudahan lain pud. coz mao ni nangahitabo which i don't know if maoy naka ingon.

2 months old na ni ako mobo and proc. gigabyte ga p35 ds3l ug c2d e8400. 2x 1gig ddr2800
mga 2 weeks ago, ni try ko ug dugang ug 2x 1gig ddr2 800 para 4gig tanan of the same memory type.
dayun dili man ka andar ako pc if 4gig naka taod, dayun ako gisulyan 3gig, ni andar ra, pero nag blue screen dayun ni restart. so gibalik nalang nako 2gig.

and last week, i borrowed an ipod shuffle pero naghang ako pc mga 5 times and after that, mag sige napud ug gawas tong pop-up nga message pag start sa windows.

naka kupya pudko ug files using flashdrive gikan other pc. could be nakadakop pud ug virus.

..... after aning hitaboa wala naka ka format?? kung wala pa hala sige e format ug balik aron limpyo unya pagkahuman ug install ug windows , ang anti virus dayun e sunod..unya update dayun...

yehey, virus destroyed.

i changed my anti virus from mcafee to nod32. patay dayun virus.

maygani virus ra. kuyawan ko if naay daot ako hardware. hehehe...

if you already have that error message, mcafee has already neutralized it but did not cleanup the things it left behind, like the startup error message, it can't start because mcafee is probably blocking it that's why its giving you an error message.
