aside from not being linked to even just a hearsay of corruption, ralph recto was one of the top performing senators during his stint in the senate.

it's not ONLY because iyang asawa kay artista, it's because he came from good political roots. unfortunately, the good senator did not win last elections because aside from cheating, elections in the philippines is a popularity contest and he is not that charismatic or charming. his last win was pure luck.
