but our doctrines should not supersede the Bible; indeed, they must be tested by the Bible, and if not in accord with it, they must be discarded as not genuine.
"To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" (Isa. 8:20).
Catholic Doctrines and scriptures(like the BIBLE) come together to further strengthen the faith of each Christian.

the Beast Blasphemes by claiming to be God and grants forgiveness. (Revelation 13:5)
Revelation 13:5 - And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

"We hold upon this earth the place of God Almighty."
Pope Leo XIII, in an Encyclical letter, dated June 20, 1894

"The Pope is not only the representative of Jesus Christ, but he is Jesus Christ, hidden under a veil of flesh."
    The Catholic National, July 1895

"This judicial authority will even include the power to FORGIVE SIN."
The Catholic Encyclopedia vol. 12, article "Pope", p.26

remember that, Christ was accused of Blasphemy, which is, claiming to be God, and claiming to take the role of God in forgiving sins.
grabe bisan tinood na nga si Jesus gi accused naman hinoon unya gi silotan pajud. who accused Him?

grabe kron hinoon nga tao lang ang nag claim murag baliwala lng.
    but it is already written.
Matthew 24:24 - For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

ok ill just say this in general... you see you happed to be a Roman Catholic b4 you were converted, and for sure you have gone into confessing.. after confessing, did you noticed what was the last word the priest said to you?...

if you did not noticed it... i'll give rhem to you...

"may God forgive you and bless you in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost"
this is the exact word my brother..

now tell me, does our priest claimed that they are the ones who forgive the sins?...
