Your just contradicting yourself bro. I haven't read that explanation from the Bible. I can only tell that you are the one doing the explanation or interpretation. If you don't mind, can you give me the exact verse where I can read the explanation?

do you know the bible's explanation about this verse?

the bible directly says FORGIVE others those who sins against you so that Father in Heaven will forgive you.

asa ka nakasala adto ka mangayo og pasaylo og ang imo nasad-an maoy mupasaylo nimo aron pasayloon pud sa Ginoo.

sorry to tell bro , Matthew 16:19 was explained by the bible and its way too far from your explanation.

    Peace!

good to know you're using verses now, then answer this question regarding with the verse you've quoted.
this verses you've quoted is in connction with the Prayer of Jesus Christ:

12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.Matthew 6.
15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Matthew 6.

so ang tao nga nakasala kay mangayog pasaylo sa asa or kinsa iya nahimuan og sala.
og adto dayon mangayog pasaylo sa Ginoo.

    Peace!

ADD version? its directly from the bible ayaw saguli sa imo pagsabot.

Matthew 16:19 is all about excommunicating of a member who don't or didn't repent.
because the LAW is a rope that will bind us here in earth and in heaven.

nah, galibog-libog ra man kas imong utok.

Mark 2:1–12 remember the story of the healing of a paralytic? jesus saw the paralytic, he said to him, "Your sins are forgiven" (Mark 2:5). scribes objected, saying only God can forgive sins. later in the story, jesus shows them that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins" (Mark 2:10) by performing the miracle of healing. what was once only in heaven is now on earth because Jesus has the authority to forgive.

so it means your doctrines not in accordance with the Bible? where in fact many catholic leaders i told them the same statements "our doctrines should not supersede the Bible; indeed, they must be tested by the Bible, and if not in accord with it, they must be discarded as not genuine." they told me, DAPAT LANG!

ako pud mdyo confuse. these statement pertaining to Jesus and stated that Jesus has the authority to forgive sin. where in fact true. but your previous statements appears that your priests can forgive sin.

your priests and pope? or Only God can forgive sin?
