oh ok. if u mean all of our nice shots, the one we put our mind and heart into taking, then sure it would be nice if people bought them because they were able to relate tothem.

I read from a post on ph photo that theres this Japanese photographer.. His concept of photography is.. the shot is already realized in the mind. taking the picture is just the means to capture it.. So every shot has to be studied

yeah, plus you get to shoot more if you get your money back cuz you can have money for the expenses incurred while making new fotos. it's nice to have returns for effort spent i guess.

Hmmm getty images here ? haven't heard of it in cebu. getting paid for pictures made by sweat & hard labor deserves a pay definitely. We can make CEBU like U.S. & EUROPE if we all team-up together with all the photographers here in the country - hobbyist, aspiring PROs, & PROs stick as one. NO PAY NO SHOOT or as a friend said so CASH 1st B4 SHOOT. Hehehe ! How could the photography industry in Philippines thrive if we shoot for FREE. If nobody shoots for FREE then they will all have to pay us. We should help Cebu's photographic Industry as it is abused.

Why do you think it's so hard for people to buy fotos but they buy paintings? How's that ? If they have money to buy paintings then they surely have the money to buy & collect photos !

I think this is possible. You just have to surf the net and find out how it can be possible. There are actually some photo sites that need asian pictures. or even foreign advertising companies who might need your photos, just make sure you put a watermark on the photo itself first, make the image small then if they like it you can give them the high res file.
