..he's a good singer but journey will never be journey without steve perry. Steve Perry made Journey to what they are. All of Journey's songs were composed by Steve Perry and Jonathan Cain. Perry still IS the VOICE, he's not old and can still sing as he used to be but he chosed not to coz as he said in one interview " IT'S TIME FOR THEM TO ENTERTAIN ME". Sadly though, most comments here are all about "go pinoy go", it's not about Journey itself, no die-hard journey fans to be found.

fact: that dude is 59 years old
fact: his voice is so raspy he could'nt sing the dirty dozen way back in '96 [hence the alleged hip problem/excuse not to tour] and he can't sing it now. new materials, puede siguro. nya mangita mag open arms ang mga tawo nga parehas nimo? unsa may iya buhaton? kantahon niya 4 notes down?

And this is wrong. What about the first 3 albums fronted by their original singer Gregg Rolie? Perry only joined in 77 and Cain in 82. When Cain was hired, Journey lost its progessive rock/jazz sound instead going into a more bubblegum, pop/rock commercial band in the 80's.

Ang tirada nila sauna kay pina Santana...of course Neal Schon also served as the lead guitarist for Santana when he was still 16.

Hasta to'ng "Bad English" nga banda...Majority of the members came from Journey except the vocalist "John Waite" who came from the group "The Babys". In case wa sad kail'g Bad English, mao na orig nga gkanta sa "When I See You Smile", "Price of Love" ug "The Time Alone With You".
