For Nursing Students: What do you think about the quality of CI's in your school...

for me, au man o way au aku ci, i really didn't care... Its up to me to learn my foundations. . . normal ra man gyud na nga naay bugo na ci. ang kabati man gud sa studyante karon, utro pud bugo o magbinogu... kung dili katoohan imu ci, maningkamot ka ui, kadaghan pa dira tawo makatbang nimu. insulting your lousy ci's doesn't really do anything productive for everyone. atimana imung kaugalingon usa ka manaway sa uban.

i agree that it's not really doing anything and i also agree that we should do extra effort sa studies. insulting them is wrong when it's done in front of the person or mentioning the name and that is why it should remain anonymous. we should respect both sides i guess and i think this is just a venue where people can express whatever they want... whether positive or negative...

i think that teaching is a skill and for those CI's who don't have the skill or passion to teach then i don't think they should teach at all. for those who have the skills in teaching then let them teach. i noticed that there are CI's who are effective in lectures and not so effective in clinical areas while some are the exact opposite so i think it would be better to put those CI's who are good in lecture to remain teaching in class while those who are effective in the clinical areas should also remain there. this would make them even more effective.

what bothers most students is that we pay these schools to give us good education and we don't get the quality that we deserve. lets put it this way...like for example, palit ka 1 pizza sa yellow cab then when na serve na you noticed that left-over diay to gahapon ...unya gi-init ra... how would you feel? di ba? and you paid for that much... what do u think u should do? imo jud pa-ilisdan right so same with school bayad ta sa education then we get crappy quality of education unsa man imo ma-feel.unya kay nibayad naman ta sige nalang agwantahon... pareha ra na sa pizza ato ra gihapon gikaon bisan wa nay ayo.. if only pwede palang ma-ilisdan diha dayon ang mga way au... hehehe..ilis dayon... unya di man... so what do we do kaon lang gihapon ta...

i think our education system should improve ila service kay we deserve it... and i believe that apil ni sa tanan nga klase nga service...

Your expectations towards more patient and respectful treatment are perfectly reasonable. pero you have to understand though, that not everyone else shares those same standards of behavior. Harsh treatment is often seen by older people as a way of teaching you something. Ang uban sad see this behavior a real jerk, but it remains true that what we define as good, normal behavior is not always the same as someone else sees it. Sympathize ko sa imong experience, but let it make you stronger, not sad. It's just part of life on earth with different kinds of people. One thing is sure, we are only able to give what we've been given, so obviously, someone treated her poorly also. right now, i don't hold any grudges against my former "tougher than usual" mentors.. i'm even thankful for the times i have been under their tutelage.. looking back, i can say for sure that i've learned, understood, and retained more lessons from them, because for my part, i worked and studied harder for them not to throw shitloads of crap at me..

no! dapat man if naay problema ang ci with the hospital staff didto niya ireport sa dean sa skul dli makig lalis. dapat mo follow bya sila sa chain of command same sa staff nurse if naa problema with the ci adto report sa nsg. sup.

among mga CI kay mga batan-on ba, naa gyod usa nga cute kaayo, med-surge namo sus.....ginoo, kanindot jud adto niya oi, pa front seat gyod dayon ang mga higal basta iya ng tym. ok ra man sila except adtong akong gi discribed nga terror kaayo mohatag exam, 3 chapters patun-an unya the following day exam dayon way discuss discuss.....ka ubo jod mi9 tawon adto niya

kinopya ra na ila exam sa NCLEX.... they dont' know how to teach... they just copy paste.... mao na ngilngig kaau ug exam...NOSEBLEED jud dayon ang student.... pero pa tudloa...SILA ANG MAG NOSEBLEED....

...kaning mga pa-terror2x nga CI's ba... they don't see themselves jud and how they had become... i mean student sad gud sila before so kibaw sila sa mga quality sa teachers and unsa impact ila nabuhat sa mga students... so if they want to leave a lasting impression sa mga students kana unta ang nindot...unya ang mga hangaw kay pa-terror2x sad hinuon and kibaw naka student would always react basta ing-ana di ba?

...lain kaayo ba na inig after sa studies ang mahinumduman sa imo students nimo as "way ayo nga CI" rather than "ok jud kaayo to siya nga CI..naa jud mi nakat-unan.." di ba? hope maka-realize sila ana...

A CI from UC-banilad, mam llanos, once said... "a person remembers someone because of her wrong doings"... bahala na bad impression ato tanaw nya basta she will be remembered forever....

pero puro sad lagi pamalikas ug barang ang iya ma dawat sa students... pero ok ra para nla... dats how dey want to be remembered....

ok... naa ko CI and luoy kaayo mi ani niya.. i think siya ang pinaka-brayt jud sa tanan when it comes to lecture..you name it he will teach it! sad part is... the 4th yr administration is taking advantage of him that siya ra jud CI ako na meet napagaw nalang intawn sa pag-tudlo... and he's supposed to leave for states na but di siya palakwon sa school kay if lakaw daw siya dayon di siya tagaan sa iya documents... that's just not right...
