In my opinion, I dont think these "gas savers" would work. It all depends on how you drive your car. This was proved by Jeremy Clarkson from top gear. A BMW M3 beats a Toyota Prius sa consumption

They do work at the office table.

They are elegant and expensive paper weights.

The device does work as designed. The usual reason it won't work to your expectation is lack of tuning during installation. Tuning on the device itself and on the car settings with the device installed is necessary. Car system is a combination of different systems that is complicated for the untrained person but simple to tune if you know how they function. I don't have a khaos fuel saver but my Nissan Sentra LEC 1999 PS with GA13 engine can do 64.2mpg (10.2mpg better than the Toyota Prius on highway).

How much do these "gas savers" cost anyway? I hope they don't cost more than the gas that you have "saved" while using it

I only noticed a similar to khaos product in (MG Infinity) SM-Cebu, it's more or less P3000 the last time I visit the shop.
Such a device will allow more air to your intake manifold, bypassing the carburetor. Air that does not goes through the carburetor does not carry additional fuel. For fuel injected, I'm not sure it will work unless you fool the ECU by altering the signal of the oxygen sensor. The device is basically an air bleed system and if tuned properly together with other aspect of the fuel delivery system will of course save you some fuel. When tuned properly, you can easily recover the cost of the device in a short period of time.

The one in Infinity, SM claimed that theirs is much better than Khaos because the design is improvised (some marketing strategy, huh) and that a lot of cars daw according to them were not contented by Khaos' results and tried and switched to their product with satisfaction. Well, it's normal for marketing people to say that. I have Khaos here, this was bought by my Dad a very long time ago but i haven't tried using it.

Why don't you try the one at Infinity bro? It's much cheaper compared to Khaos 'coz it costs 3k only and it's still subject for return in 10 days if you're not satisfied with it.
