OMAD : .. I've had some head-on collisions against people who takes offense when their opinion is questioned. They don't know how to handle it maturely and thinks that it's a personal attack thus resorting to petty personal insults and childish name-callings instead of handling it in a civilized way.

Pero okay ra na.. dili malikayan nga naay mga taw nga ingon-ana. They just can't seem to comprehend that a discussion is a discussion and in an open forum, opinions are subject to discussions. Kita bitaw sa una, naa man tay difference of opinion bahin sa 2006 NBA playoffs ba to, pero it never got heated because like me, you are very aware that everything should be dealt with a conversational tone no matter how strongly the other feels about his/her opinions.

EZRA: I've had countless heated but rather cordial discussions in the past too. majority of them in the Politics and Current Events threads of which there are a lot of issues that would keep everybody's blood boiling. but I don't get those issues under my skin. I have a lot of other stuff to think about ie work, errands and other personal matters that I don't let those arguments linger.

yeah, I remember that discussion we had about two years ago. my hometown team got burned big time but how did I react? just like a typical sportsman, I congratulated you after your team won. I'm no sore loser, never was, never will be.

Just because something is reported does not mean action has to be taken. It could be that we just haven't gotten to it yet.
