Bro Dexterdal, if you have a friend nga na ay PC try e-install ang imong CD-Rom sa iya PC then observe what will happen sa iya PC. Kung ang result is normal try to borrow ug IDE Cable or buy ka ug second hand IDE Cable basin shorted or something lose in contact and imong existing. If ever will not work try another option just set your CD-Rom to Primary Slave with the HDD Primary Master. Another option nga imo e-observe install your HDD sa IDE-0 without CD-Rom after your observation if ever no problem occur then try install your HDD sa IDE-1 without CD-Rom.
Hope this will help you.![]()
bai,
pwede pud nimu i-solate ang problema by stripping the computer down to the basic POST components... try i-observe and computer sa BIOS with mobo, proc, mem and power supply lang. kung mushutdown pagani then its gotta be 1 of 'em...
kung gusto ka i-check nimu ang functionality sa imu cdrom drive... i try ug launch ang win XP reinstallation without your hdd connected para isolated jud ang problem.
hope makatabang ni...
I Agree with G_o_R, do the isolation. One component at a time.
I have a case before where my DVD writer just simply disappeared while i was burning. The next time i boot it up, the DVD writer is present but it wont ready any disc. Through isolation, i was able to trace the problem. Its on my IDE cable.
In your case, do the same. Prioritize your suspects. Start from the most priority. You may remove the CD-ROM first and check the stability of the system.
Hope you'll find a fix and have your computer back to work again.
Naka sulay pud ko ani.. mukalit lang off ang monitor (pero ang light dli mag blink orange but instead will stay kanang permanent nga green), then ang CDROM drives nako mag steady pud green asta ang HDD activity light..
Ang prob ra kay mura wala kada-og ang power supply kay if ako tang tangon ang fan with LED nako kay mawala ang prob.. or if ipabilin nako ang mga fans then tangtangon nako ang isa ka HD kay maayo man pud..
pwede pud imo mobo, ako gf nga PC kay ingon ani pud prob then palit cla new mobo. hantod karun wala pa mubalik ang prob..
