watched the movie today.... I hope Im not giving much away.....

the story is so well woven with misdirection and deception by both heroes and villains just to be able to capture or entrap the other..... the dialogues are so faithful to comicbook literature on a real urban environment (indeed very Chicago settings - out are the gothic scenery from the old movies)...... balanced action scenes to keep the story interesting.... a new cool costume.... plus great batpod action (although i pity the stuntdriver with all that debri going towards his face in real life)..... explosions galore courtesy of the Joker..... and a new tech that I think leads to a uproar for the fans.....

slight spoiler: i just mentioned it in my post (#212) above .

Heath Ledger's Joker is really believable and deserving of any award.... you may find him stuttering at one of his earlier appearances and it was well justified..... he is one cold inhuman psycho killer surpassing what I can expect from a killer clown..... I like the part that he justified his match to Batman - that one does not kill because he is bound by rules and the other does not have any and finds it fun.....

So this is what it like when an unstoppable object meets... an immovable one.....

watch it folks! I really enjoyed it even with all its dark tones.....

9/10 for me. I have my little qualms/nitpick but all in all, a great must-see movie, if only for Ledger's acting.
