basehan lng nimo sa buyers.. mas pag gawas sa altis daghan dayun ngdagan same sa civic.. pero sa lancer.... ahhhhmmmm lancer 2.0 ala pako kita.. katong bago nila na model.. everyday gud ko lakaw. wa pa jd ko kita..

lancer nice performance but if maguba patay sad ka, kat sensorised na tanan.
adaptive headlights and auto wiper pag mka detect ug rain/water sa imu windshield.
the adaptive headlights kay every mu turn ka 30deg. mu turn daun xa to the direction you are going.

ana man jud na mitsu dri sa cebu or specifically diamond mmotors. dugay kau... unlike sa manila paspas man.
like ad2 mi sa mandaue mitsu wla claro salesgirl nila call back daw wla jud aww, ad2 nlng mi sa south road mambaling palit nya pag kibaw xa cge daun tawag kay nganu daw didto mi palit nya gi ilog daw sa lain salesman iya sales. hehe

you might also wanna include the resale value? toyota mas more chance ma taxi in the future which good, kay daghan sapre parts available and pag e baligya naa mu palit para himuon taxi. ang mitsu kay wla kau taxi ila units, naa but gamay lng.

Lancer 2.0 GTA as of yesterday wala pa maski isa gadagan diri sa cebu daw according to the sales rep...its was just released last month daw.

another big downer for me sa lancer...no one pull window closing...imagine going to ayala parking lot, u press down on the window switch once and window goes all the way down automatically and get the card/ticket...but then closing the window you need to keep pulling on the switch to close the window
meaning one hand holding the ticket, one hand closing the window, no hand holding the wheel.
tsk tsk. they brag about their safty with 7 airbags. but small details that are used everyday they forget to enhance. which brings me back to its small rear window and view obstructing spoiler...

And yes, wala pako nakakita ug All new Lancer sa road but I already saw an EVO X diri sa Cebu nga puti... got a picture of it sa camera phone.

if its for me, ill go for the Corolla ALTIS, why? its toyota (bsan isuzu akoa hehe), vvti engine (reliable, economical and now equipped with timing chain na daw), high resale value, gwapo kaau as innnnnn . its more than the old altis, love the tail lights, trunk, everything . for me, its even way ahead of the new civic. if i have the money, ill go for m/t altis pearl white

saw a red new lancer sa sm 3rd flr mall parking. very nice pud. in 18's and very sleek but i dont like the grill hehe.

The only thing that stops me from getting an Altis is the "taxi" mentality ang that's it. I just keep on seeing an Altis/Corolla on every street that I drove and Corolla's has very few customization options unlike a Honda Civic. If I'd get the New Altis, I think I would change the rims and add a body kit right away just to differentiate it from the rest of the taxi crowd (the new Altis will soon roll as taxis no doubt about that) .

i didnt have much time to put more comparison sa civic earlier...ako lang gi una ang topic Altis vs Lancer.
but since many have pointed out the civic, let me share more of my thoughts after test driving it.

as ive already pointed out the civic had the best interior detailing among the 3 with little to complain about overall. but what mattered to me most ni labaw lang lang altis although naay daghan na nilabaw pud gamay ang civic. no auto rain/lights/parking sensor. no manual leveling of headlamps. less headroom(napakong ko when i got out hehehe). no power seats. smaller rear window bad for backing up. bit stiff and harder less comfortable ride/seats. all these points go to altis.

civic's blue seats was not to my liking. wider turning radius than the altis but not by much and the lancer performed best here. smallest tank capacity among the 3 means more trips to the gas station.

features na nilabaw ang civic that i didnt care too much...faster ang 2.0s pero mas kalas man pud ug gas...digital speedometer (i prefer the optitron sa altis). steering paddles for gear shifting which i probably never use.

features na sulti nila but i can't say personally from experience...
mas maayo gyud daw ang aircon/climate control sa altis vs the honda...

biggest deal breaker for me sa civic is the maintenance from year 4 to year 15 would be many times more than the altis.

what i wanted sa altis unta na naa sa civic and lancer. aux audio input.


here 1.8 civic and 1.8 altis race were altis took the lead...

pearl white is only available on the camry.
altis only super white ang available.

yeah 18 on paper looked so sweet...seeing it, looks cheap and unimpressive
