MERGED: Reinstate Death Penalty?

It's just about right to bring back the death penalty. What with the prison overcrowing and rampant crimes, the government owes it to its citizens to bring back the death penalty and revoke the document from the Vatican stating that the Phils. has abolished the death penalty. Statistics have shown that in the Phils., crimes were significantly reduced with the implementation of the death Penalty during the Estrada Administration(remember his catch phrase, "Huwag niyo ako susubukin!"). I know some of you out there will say that implementing the death penalty is like fighting fire with fire and that fire feeds on fire but ****, if it was proven to be an effective elixir to rampant crimes in the PHilippines, then so be it. The government needs "to strike fear into the marrow of the bones" of these ****ed up criminals. Whether out of desperation or side effects of drug-use, death penalty should be re-insituted. What with the crisis that the whole WORLD is about to enter, we definitely need to fight back strong to those who oppress the weak.

in deed death penalty is an easy way out. i would rather have a physical punishment than totally killing the person. If nangawat, putlon iya kamut after dili cya mutagam. nangrape cya, putlon iyaha pero himua ug agianan sa ihi. kung nakapatay cya, putlan usa kamut ug usa ka tiil. sumting inga ana ba. im sure criminals will dread that compared to death. that's just my analysis....heheheh...
