ok ra na kon overpopulated ang nurses kay they better chance of employment compared to other grads, u know why? ang nurses, kon di man gani sya ka apply as nurse pwede ra man sya, sa call center, sa department store, sa banks, hotels and many others, pero ang other line of professions di man sila pwede apply as nurse...for instance ang teacher, pwede sya call center, store, banks pero di na pwede as nurse, ang nurse pwede man mag teach, like kanang mga CI sa nursing schools..

But have you given much thought kung unsa na kadaghan nurse?
Like last board exam, pilay mi-take? 65T? The board exam before that?
Roughly 67T nursing grad took the exam and almost 28T passed.
Kadaghan ana. And counting pa jud.
I'm not against nurses, it's just that daghan na kaayo.
And dili tanan makatrabaho jud.

It is not much of an issue kon daghan ang nurses karon tungod aning population explosion dili lng sa ato but in all parts of the world, it takes 4 years to produce nurses, but it only takes 9 months to produce babies.....the more babies we produce, the more nurses are needed. clear ba ang akong point? you are talking about thousands graduates but we produce millions of babies every year, more nurses are needed abroad now and still more in the coming years. So kamo nga nag plan to take nursing ....go ahead

post war baby boomers are now in their twilight years that need most of nurse's care, more than that, recent advancement in medicine help prolong life expectancy of these adults yet dependent on others for their care ( kasagaran ani nila bed-ridden sa latent stage in their life, usually 5 years b4 life ends). and who will look after them? the nurses...FYI, 300,000,000 ++++ang population sa usa, 13 percent ana ang 65 yrs and older, dependent ni sila when it comes to health care, that is 39,000,000 aged people needing care accross the 50 states in america, plus other categories needing care, usa pa lng na, wa pay labut ang uk, australia,nz, israel, hongkong singapore taiwan and the list continues.....pinas pa, suma total ana, lack of nurses jod.

another thing, population in the US is increasing at a steady rate of 3,000,000 every year....

we have an over supply already. and the government should do something about this. pna lately made this public as well as the proliferation of lpn schools which is not helping. enrollment should be regulated. and parents...come on...enuf pushing ur kids aready.

well the government actually did something thats why this happened...
in late 2006, the senate wrote to the white house to limit the migration of filipino nurses because the hospitals in the philippines were literally running out of nurses and doctors. and because of this agreement that the nurses in the philippines are currently stuck here in the philippines. so visas are on limited release every year for nurses. ang pag adto raman sa US ang problema but getting a nursing job abroad is like hunting for grass in the forest. if naa ka ngadto

the thing is china is now sending nurses to the US. so our loss is china's gain. coz they are not trying to stop nurses from working abroad. sayang lang kay in my point of view, they prefer filipino nurses.

cge lang kay gamit kaau ning nurse... makalarga ra lage ta in due time.. hehe mostly pud sa nag nursing ron planu jud na mularga.. murag gamay na mureason out ron na, 'ganahan ku katabang sa mga masakiton na pobre..'
daghan na man pud di na mag require ug experience sa mga nursing home abroad or even without license.. kay mu-undergo pa man training.. so keep on reaching for your dreams.. hehe we all want a bright future.. hinuon hinay2 tigom money para procesing.. hehe gud luck nato..
