@ PIOLO and COSPLAY .... that is exactly my sentiments but the point which I am trying to put out is , do they limit the FRATERNITIES only to GREEK LETTERED ORGANIZATIONS ?

Now, yes. It's Greek-lettered-groups == fraternities. USC is adjusting to the common and shallow knowledge of people about what fraternities are. I know they know deeper than that but they're after a "clean and wholesome image".

Even schools are also ignorant when it comes to FRATERNITIES and SORORITIES . Its not that naglagot , I could care for less , but what I dont get is , USC havent lifted the ban yet on FRATERNITIES but they have SRB ( Scout Royal Brotherhood ) registered as an organization that is based off capmus . We all know that SRB cannot be called a FRATERNITY but they are by means of definition and characteristics , a FRATERNITY , dili lang GREEK LETTERED because they are an umbrella organization of the Alpha Phi Omega fraternity .

Is that sign of IGNORANCE of the STUDENT AFFAIRS OFFICE ? Its has to be a GREEK LETTERED FRATERNITY and it stops there ? The funny thing is , most of the staff , faculty in one way or the other were FRATMAN and SORMEN themselves back in the days or were involved and familiarized with the system .

fraternity nowadays have been mixed with bad influence but you cannot deny because of the news in our society... like wat happen to the USC SAS they did not accept GREEK FRATERNITY just because the fraternity want to register and also to recognize n d school but they lifted on banning greek fraternity. USC has been in the news because of the incident what happen and it involved fratman in the campus... like wat u said SRB is not a GREEK fraternity but they are by means of definition of an organization.. pero naka register ghapon sila... I have so many friends who are willing to register der organization in the campus but SAS himself deny because of the greek WORD but in order to register they used their screen name.. like wat happen to Epsilon Chi Sigma a campus based fraternity for ECE they used STOICS... I think the SAS GENERALIZED and LITERALIZED the meaning of the fraternity we know they are lots of fraternity have their own identity and visualistic bsan maau pa ilang gbuhat sa campus og sa uban pang matang sa pag tabang murag naa pil lang.... because of the word "FRATERNITY"

karn na year sa usc wala nay gdawat na registration ang skul aning mga fraternities, and wala sad ko idea nanu... my point is ma limitan ba atong capabilities sa pag tabang sa uban nanginahanglan og tabang bsan dli na registered ang org/fraternity sa isa ka skul?? i dont think so guys... busa,registered man gani or unregistered ang atong frat,ilang frat og inyong frat padayon lng ghapon ta sa pag hatag og serbisyo para sa uban(am talking here bout inside school programs), that is wat a fraternity should do...

agree ko ani bro.. willing man tanan org motabang.. but kong motabang man gud ka sa skol sa inside d naman kaayo suportahan sa kadagkoan imbis d noon sila mohatag og permit.. mostly sa gawas nalang dyd ang mga monthly projects namo kay lisod man gud ... og kong naay mga activity sa school support man me pod bsan sa CCC nag marshall me atleast naghatg me og security sa ilang praising and worship concert og ang IFSC dako sad na og tabang. pero kong ang FRATERNITY name ang mo organize lisod na ambot lang kaha kong tugtan sa SAS .. kasagaran dyd kong naa sa skol activities mag pa affiliate ra dyud me sa mga register orgs... d man me kaayu dako na org but we are willing to help hand or not hand...

Daghan og ways ani, dili ra kay frat or soror. You don't need to be in a frat to be able to help.

About "Greek-Lettered Fraternities":
TO the most ignorant people outside the school, Greek lettered formations sound bad (please, no offense to those who are members). That is why they banned it. But I do not think it is limited to the Greek lettered. Bloods and Crips are not Greek.

yea sak2 ka... d man dyud sa ingon na mosolod ka og frat/sor makatabang na ka.. pwede man ghapon ta mosolod sa istoryans charity volunteers etc eheheh XD nice sad baya ilang mga programs as in.... maka meet sad ka og new friends and also its members of the group drawn together by shared goals, ideas and common experiences like fraternity.. og malingaw sad ka sa mga istoryans ehehehe XD maong na adik ko deri ^^
