it seems that he's too busy expending all the city's resources into marketing his pet project, what else of course, but the SRP...which just recently, i'm starting to consider to be a bad idea...crazy as it may sound, but maybe with talks of global warming and all, reclaimed land doesnt count as prime property anymore...
damn it...if only he attended to the city's present needs before jumping into an ambitious plan for the future
HI Nito,
i think in any big business, u have to look for the future... if not you might as well close shop.
do you know any big business that makes a net profit in the first few years right away? do you know any big companies that doesnt take out loans? mybe there would be a few.. but even PLDT, san miguel or even metrobank make loans to finance their business. even if they are paying interest.. it will be offset by gains in the future. its good business sense, the city still has cash for its operations rather than paying the cash for the SRP. the SRP will pay for it self soon....
i think some peeps are just brainwashed by the garcia's politiking and wla sila'y lain masulti kun di ang SRP coz most of the people especially the poor dont understand why millions are being spent there. so mao na ilang target permi....
mind you, the province wants to take over cityhall too....
