Modem Heat issue

had the same exact problem with that modem issued from globe. tawagi lang globe bai ingna nga guba-on na nga model and ila na ilisdan lain. ila cguro na ilisdan with prolink 9200 kay mao na ila gihatag nako.

hurricane 5200 gihatag sa ako, ambot lng unsa napud kaha depecto ani.

FYI: prolink modem/router normally heats up.,

based on my experience with prolinks, no prolink ive used nga wla jud moinit, but as long as the line is good. connection is not lost.

im wondering if pwede ba kaha ta palit ug ato a jud from our own pocket ok kaha ang globe?
I'll check this out ugma pero ako sa ni pahimuslan ako a kai 1 month pa man ni sayang pod.

you can buy man third party modem (supports PPPoE, with VC settings. 0/35 for globe)...... just dont mention it when you call them if you are having problems.. hehehe... am pretty sure they will recommend you to put their modem back.

you could also try placing your modem in a custom built box with exhaust and intake holes, put a fan on it if ganahan ka bugnaw sya... But I doubt about the fan's magnetic field when operation, it could interfere the modem.

ok raman daw ang SNR ug Attenuation. murag mo tukar tukar lang jud.
mopalit nalang ko ug dual WAN na router hopefully masulbad ning problema nako sa connections.
