why is it too hot now?

I put an 1800 XP on my asus board and it gives the proc a vcore voltage of 1.5 << this is gud. but to my AXP 2400+ it gives out 1.72 +. i tried my AXP sa ecs na board... im getting lower voltages... 1.62, 1.64, 1.67 naa ra ana nila.. magusab-usab man gud mga bro...

Ok rana 1.62-1.67v,

ngano man 1.72v man ang ma detect sa BIOS.

So dili sad maudjust ang voltage?
Naturaly abot gyud na 60c if your voltage is 1.72.

Try lang kono rollback sa imo BIOS when the time you just bought it.
tanaw nako its your new BIOS ang naay bug.

Sometimes ang latest BIOS is the worst and the most bug.

My advise:
1. try a modded BIOS if any, just read the BIOS release notes
if theres a fix on the voltage bug.
2. rollback the BIOS when the time you bought it.

pls try wat oders had advised...reflashing ur bios...den post ur updates bro...

btw...runing ur cpu hsf fan at full blast will cause turbulence on ur casing's air flow...thus it will only add up on ur cpu temp...

Theres also another situation that will cause more heat due high airflow.

Kana bitaw fan sa imo side casing the airflow must be flowing in not out of the casing.

Because if you try setting it to toward outflow it will create a vaccum between the cpu fan
and the sidecasing sucking air at each other. so it will produce great heat on the part of the
CPU because theres no air to be able to flow toward the sinks because na vaccum or na suck out man ang air sa side casing. So init kaayo ang sinks ani.

also na try na nimo open ang casing when turning on?

ang akoa bro kay buhat kog casing nga kahoy og naa sa upper portion na akong mobo.
under sa mobo kay cdrom, hdd and psu.

sys temp at idle nako kay magdepende na sa room temp. usually 33-40(at noon) deg C.
proc temp is at 37-44(max burn)
if tugnaw inig gabii kay 41 and proc temp.
am using only the volcano7 - lowest speed.
no aircon.
