Lami kaayo paminawon bai, but sad to say pang techie rajud ang Linux.
Kung user friendly palang ang Linux why not, but even then, once daghan na mag linux daghan nasad mag himo ug virus for Linux kay ni dako na ang "market", just like the so called virus free Mac.
Naglisod man gani ug tangtang ug virus ang OP.
for OP, try AVG 8.0, ma remove raman tingali na. Kung di gihapon, reformat/reinstall nalang jud.
User friendly? Try openSUSE.. or Ubuntu..
I'm using openSuSE and it's user friendly, I have been using this for 3 years and I don't have any problems with viruses so far. Always log-in as user mode to be safe. Linux has strict file system which makes it difficult for a virus to run on it's own up to the root. Always avail of the free updates to maintain security.
