Didn't dream of sub 45. As what a friend of mine said, "leave it to the pro"...to which I agree.
Sub 50 is already enough, I dont want to push my self too hard. Getting a good run three or four times a week is good enough to keep me fit. This is not to mention the atmosphere of friendship runners give to each other. There's no better greeting than to receive it from a fellow runner or jogger who smiles and waves at you at 5:30 am and gives a perspiring "good morning bai!!!"
Already did
hi,
im new in this group. im just wondering if there is any run this july here in cebu? do you have any group for running where i can join?
thank you very much
^welcome to you then. it's always nice to know someone who likes running.
so far there aren't any scheduled run for this month. it's probably because everyone's training for the milo half.
running group? there used to be talks about forming an istorya.net running club. it never came to be. there seems to be an issue with ppl here getting together to run. it would have been nice.
When i started I didn't have a group which what I like about this sport. But as you practice, you'll eventually end up getting to know a lot of runners. In my case I came to know people from Cebu Executive Runners and Cebu Road Runners Club. These are very nice people though I haven't joint any club.
Try running at the oval early morning, we might bump at each other![]()
^sige lang siguro ta ug kadungan peacemaker unya wa nagka-ilhanay. anha man pud ko pirmi sa abellana. if i do road runs i always end it in abellana pud.

hi there mr. tagatisa and to all of you guys. im really really sorry if i'm not too active this days with our thread. but anyway, this is about sa atong 'running group'. maybe we can start meeting each and everyone here, and abellana is the best place to be. let's get to know each other first then maybe we could talk about the group. how about that guys?
^that would be great inkodell!
anyways, i've just registered for the milo half marathon. maximum number of participants for the 21k is only 150 so for those who want to join, you need to register now.
wouldn't it be nice if we can exchange tips on how to successfully finish a 21k? i've never run this distance before. got sick during the sinulog half. i've downloaded a 4-week program over runnersworld.com and that's what i'm doing now.
any suggestions would really be appreciated.
