It's not really a must, but I consider it my responsibility especially since I am the eldest child and my siblings are still in school..Since I started working, I really give them cash..But now, we do it in terms of the different needs within the family such as the cost of monthly amortizations and the allowance for my siblings..

depende ra man na nimo guro if mohatag ka or if obliged jud ka sa imo parents nga mohatag..
in my case kay dili pod coz my parents are also earning more than i do..ingon pa sa akong papa, imoha na lng na imong sweldo kay kulang pa na nimo sa imong pgkagastador..hehe..
then ok, kana pa nga si papa na ang nibalibad..i-treat na lng nako sila og kaon or i'll buy stuffs for them during special occasions..

sakto, we are not obliged to give money to our parents, but we need to take care of them when they get old, naa ra nimo if mo hatag ka, but you are not forced to give...

if dako ka sweldo, lain kaayo sa part sa imo parents na mo hatag ka og cash, y not buy something nalang instead of cash imo ihatag, pede ba ron, pang hongkong or singapore sa imo parents, or bankahan nimo og dinner. stuffs like that

it's not a must. kay sa tinuod lang, malipay na na sila if magshare ka sa imung sweldo in forms of blowout ba dira, or libre ug ice cream. Accomplishment enough na para sa ilaha nga makita sa imu nga naa kay trabaho and that you're sharing your blessings dili lang sa ilaha kundi pati sa uban tawo nga nanginahanglan. ^_^
