It depends how popular you are. It could be cents, a few dollars, or big amounts of cash per month. But OT nata and lets just stay with the topic.

In theory all kinds of income "can be" tax free. It would depend if you'd declare it or not. By law, all income must be subject to tax. You can declare it and pay tax voluntarily... I am not very familiar with how it goes but I know a lot of people who do it that way.

Metz, all income, even if it's illegal, are taxable. Income from blogging is not exempt from taxes. Most, if not all, don't declare it coz there is no specific measure or BIR regulation covering it. However, for US Citizens, they have to declare it in their ITR coz IRS has a way of knowing undeclared income. Take for example PPP and or google adsense. They ask you of your TIN number. Normally, the payout is deducted with a certain percentage. But it's not the full tax that is deducted. The deducted amount can be used as creditable taxes upon filing of annual ITR.

Ani na lang. Register a business and apply for TIN in the BIR. They require you to attend a seminar wherein you are briefed of their requirements (tax, bookkeeping, etc..). And in there, you can ask about online earnings. I'm not sure if they are familiar about it, but they'd certainly want you to issue an OR for your every receipts. You can also ask for a BIR ruling regarding online earnings.

    Thanks sa input.

Ang akong problema kay the income is from gambling man gud.
Sa US, pro poker players also pay tax. Paying tax is not a problem for me as long as naay clear guidelines covering online income or online gambling.

Ill try to go to BIR tomorrow and post nalang nako diri ilang advice.

the first question should be, are they earning that much? i don't think bloggers here are earning that much.
i knew a few guys over here who are earning much from internet (ppc from their site, mlms, affiliates and etc.).. but i'm not sure if there's someone here who's earning much just because of blogging.

I know some full time bloggers who are pretty well off in the Philippines. So yes, there are Pinoy bloggers who do earn that much.
