    monros

i dunno lang ha, murag di cguro na pwede,

if duha ka NIC both are up, di cguro ko ka ingon nga ang routing ana puro active

suwayi daw na duha ka NIC nga up and try to type sa dos command: route print

makita nimo ang default route via nic1 metric 20 (active) ang usa via nic2 metric 25 (passive)

actualy wala ko experience ana nga scenario, ang experience nako between wired nga NIC and wireless NIC

ang wireless NIC is metric 25 which is the 2nd preference

pero , suway daw na scenario , laboratory lang bah, wehehhee

So we have two ISPs. PC #1 is currently connected to one ISP, and #2,#3, and #4 are all connected to the other ISP via an 8-port hub.

My question is...how do I make PC #1 be a part of the network that PC's #2,#3, and #4 all belong to? I simply want to be able to access files in the 3 other PC's from PC #1.

If possible, the solution should not include adding a router or setting up an VPN, etc etc.

Any help is much appreciated, thanks!

easy. give them the same workgroup name. the IP address doesn't matter as well as the gateway. if you're computers are using the same workgroup, they should be able to connect with each other regardless of gateways or ip addresses. just don't forget to set file and printer sharing, though.

What do you mean? They're on separate ISP's...how can PC #1 see PC #2, #3 and #4?

Actually I've also posted this question to some tech boards, and most of them have also suggested the 2nd LAN card idea and also a simple VPN method via Hamachi (what gamers usually use to create a virtual LAN). Again many thanks to the input.

lan card 1 connect to hub where the pldt dsl is connected at the same time ma belong sya sa network...

lan card 2 use for internet only.. (static ip)

    pede ba nah?
pede kayo ni na idea bro...just give it a try ...buy lang ka 2nd hand LANcard for testing. in this setup, pede nmo himuon ang PC#1 act as gateway of PC#234 if PLDT dsl is down.
