    HoundedbyHeaven,

My name is Ned Schneebly and I have an electric guitar *I was just testing youuuu I was playing dumb: and YOU HAVE PASSED!

To objectively test the Deuterocanonicals you need NOT turn to the Vatican or to Protestants go to Michael Drosnin and let him do the math all right, so they were even used by Jesus and the disciples but they weren't regarded as God-breathed per se... more like words of the wise.

    again, Michael Drosnin pangutan-a.

Even the Jedi the most experienced ones too sure of themselves they are

Actually we LOVE to read the whole Bible too.... it makes Purgatory and the principle of Transubstantiation invisible.

    Until you read purgatory into the passage of 1 Cor. 3: 11 - 15 without the context of Eph. 2: 18 - 22 or 1 Pet. 2: 4 - 8, which is such a faulty method!

And if you read the whole of 1 Cor. 11 without understanding the completeness of the sacrifice of Christ in Hebrews 9 and 10

or stuff like salvation by works reading Phiilippians 2: 12 without reading verse 13 of it or Philippians 1: 6 plus without the context of Gal. 5: 4 and Eph. 2: 8 - 9

You are correct. Every passage in the Bible is God-breathed but this is only where we agree.

guess, correct me if I’m wrong, you just misleading yourself by your own understanding of the word “candid”. But it seems you used it by way of personal attack and precisely for me alone. You know bro, I admire you the way you post your opinion, posting some informative ideas and posting some words from the bible. I know you have wisdom to defend yourself, your beliefs and your religious affiliation. I know you are intelligent enough to understand how to respect one’s opinion regarding our personal beliefs and religious affiliation. You know, if you have God-given wisdom you are required to share it with pure, peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. But it so happens, you are using your wisdom to dismay people. Are these behaviors are being inculcated in your religion? Honestly speaking, the wisdom of the world does not make us intelligent before God.
    Websniper,

Sir that wasn't a personal attack! Consider it a self-deprecating remark for myself because I was ignorant as to the meaning of "candid catholic" but it ISN'T a misnomer as there are such terms as "candid witnesses"..... It was self-deprecating quip on my part so I'm sorry if it seemed like a harsh mockery.

Honestly speaking, the wisdom of the world does not make us intelligent before God.

    You are correct.
You are quoting 1 Cor. 3: 19 for the wisdom of this world is nonsense in the eyes of God

People like you who are very OPEN and see things from a very wide perspective are much wiser than those who cling fanatically to self styled denominations.

You are much wiser than I am and I'm flattered you even consider my arguments as "wisdom" but all I post here - is* merely to render pieces of my mind...

akong mga chicks? naa na'y mga uyab. but we love one another ;-b ahahahahaha!
there are other things u can make fun of.

I wasn't making fun of Islam. I was simply implying that in terms of romantic relationships with our norms today, if one is to adhere strictly to Biblical basis, bethrothal naman unta na...

but where taking in a lose form of romantic bonding in the norms of today's youth is indeed slack, in Islam it should be a commitment. same with Christianity where bethrothal has to be commitment.

a fine example of one who's rationalizing a wrongdoing.
Islam is so great, that if you knew even little of it, you'd keep it pure and keep everyone from making the slightest dirt on it.
it's nothing personal, MrBiddle, i'm sure u know.

What wrongdoing was there when it was the norms of today's youth that I was trying to ridicule despite a comparison with Islam?
Only if my comparison was blasphemous and abominable will I be sorry... if so then I am.

And also if you check the last two lines of my post:

Islam, it is a commitment. ahehehehe.

akong mga chicks? naa na'y mga uyab. but we love one another ;-b ahahahahaha!

As you can see I was affirming that commitment is a serious matter in Islam (just like in Christianity).... and in the last line, you will see it is very clear that I was being more cynical about the norms of today's youth.

misfit, are you Inse - interior designer?

By the way I'm also curious if you want to share why you chose Islam? For me, it is because I have been able to ascertain concrete prophetic evidence in our Bible that's why I concluded it is God's inspired message to mankind.

There are even some in our faith who don't understand that we, like Islam are monogamous Clint Eastwood even compared the Trinity to Snap Crackle and Pop in a Rice Crispies box... I'll be glad to discuss if you wanna bother to listen... although there are variations of this monogamy such as the dulia and hyperdulia in Roman Catholicism. Some who are of that denomination will criticize me if I call those two except our latria as polygamous. Those are foreign terms anyway...

But it would be nice if you will share more about Islam.

@ MrBiddle: I wish you wouldn't take it as a personal attack. and the counterattack is uncalled for, misfit are you inse-cure? but it's ok.

there's really nothing i want to argue about, i just don't want even the littlest insult, or something that you may not think as an insult, to something as great as Islam.

"Islam, it is a commitment. ahehehehe", for example, i wouldn't even put ahehehehe and the religiion in the same sentence. i think u understand.

and also, "Clint Eastwood even compared the Trinity to Snap Crackle and Pop in a Rice Crispies box"...just because he did doesn't make it right. I don't see your point.

I'd love to share, and I'm still learning myself but I'm afraid that if I do post here, people might react violently and thrash the religion, which I do not want to happen. Like now, I just asked u to make fun of other things and the reaction that I got.

In the movie I am referencing, yes Clint is wrong and his clergyman used the f-word plus the adjective "pagan" when he did.
My point is that similar to how others NOT of the Christian faith respond there are those who are less informed such as the character Clint Eastwood played in MILLION DOLLAR BABY who consider our trinity "separate"... but Biblical understanding shows that our God is just One.

Inse or Ensi I don't know...... but I know someone from interior design of that name she might just be you?
    but I guess you're NOT.

In our faith, we are also trinity.

    Body -
    Spirit (the mind)
    Soul (the whole person)

although there are variations of the definitions of "soul" in Christianity including one attributing itself to literature namely the "multo".

But Biblically, the body will return to ashes only to be Ressurected again on the last day.

Personally, I believe in the very basic definition of Soul meaning THE WHOLE PERSON. To me the "multo" is just fairy tales and the work of demonic manifestations to lead some sectors astray.

I see. Your judgment is intuitive.... me? I WILL get criticized and maybe the faith that I profess will be misunderstood. But for now I'm confident I know just enough

One thing I do know is that religion our God accepts as pure and blameless is to look after widows and orphans in distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by this world (James 1: 27)
In other words, caring for the needy. By this standard I can hardly call myself "religious" yet but in our faith, it is the faith alone that sanctifies (Acts 26: 18 ) although there are strict definitions on what genuine fidelity means.

ah ic! nope i'm not Ensi or Insi,hehehe.. it's funny.

now i see how clint eastwood got into the picture, good thing you explained.

and ur absolutely right, ONE God. Islam is monotheism, surrendering oneself to one god. although the concept if Trinity isn't included.
