Who have tried downgrading a Fujitsu S Series Lifebook Laptop's Operating System? Originally, my laptop has a Windows Vista OS. Since I want to downgrade it to Windows XP SP2, just not easy. How come when I installed XP on the laptop, it cant seem to detect the hard drive?
What will I do?

Did you reformat as NTFS? Or just plainly install it?

Much better to install both OS, partition your HD. Google about installing XP, vista first.

use winxp with integrated service pack. most likely your laptop has a sata drive that can't be detected by 1st gen winxp installers.
