depende sa brand and model, for some roadster engine start at 1.6 and 1.8(for miata and puegot) 1.8 for audi TT and z3, 1.9 for some other z3 and naa sad 2.0 and some CLK but with american na roadters majority dako jud engine so if you have european roadster dili kaayo kalas gas (use V power)

aww cge raman gud ko huna-huna sa porsche 911, sus kalasa jud atoh ug gas. haha ang mx-5 karun sa mazda kay 2.0 ra. basin mas-bent on for efficiency and economy jud ang jap roadsters compared to american and european. ang z4 karun dako naman sad ug makina, mga 3.2 i think. ang previous z3 2.0 though.

Sa panahon karon, any car basta makahatud from point A to point B. considering in owning a car syempre FC because of rising oil prices. Then maintainance kung dali ra ba ang parts (for used cars) ug lig on pa ba ang makina (for BN cars). And syempre price dayon. Mao ra ni IMHO.

tungod sa mga presyo sa gas karon--- go for brand new.. kay mas tipid ug gasoline o mas "green" daw ang mga bag-o nga cars karon...

BUT

performance-wise [considering nga pareha ra ug price bracket], makakuha na ka ug mas nindot ug performance nga second hand car.....

in my opinion I list my preference according to current nato nga status,

current status as an employee with an average salary:
2nd hand with a good performance engine+essential parts and a well maintained body.A sub compact car suits my taste(easy to park and maneouver), pang everyday drive,sedan type para naay trunk and fuel efficient.

if I have extra money and I mean more extra gyud: I go for brand new fuel efficient cars,same thing subcompact car alng to drive me anywhere and everyday use.Pero for family any SUV will do that is tipid gihapon.

Pero regarding sa brand new, I think dili ra ako ang naka witnessed ani, there was a chevy optra here in cebu city that was running below as expected,(around 1: man siguro(not sure gyud basta kalas) and considering brand new, why? he intended and custom made a sticker place on his rear windshield the gas consumption of his car, murag nag announce sya ba nga mao ni konsumo....my friend witness this one when he parked at waterfront hotel lahug....so para nako dili ra gyud diay basihan kay bag-o mao tipid...suppose to be unta it should performed better compared to old ones pero sometimes it is not the case.
