i should say that mostly katong mga taw nga gusto mo point out sa ilang views have some motives in doing it:

    1) they have something factual that they knew and they want to share it.
    2) gusto lang papapil
    3) they are selfish bisag walay nakamahuan.
    4) feel lang niya...

this is just my opinion or basig kuwang pani hehehe

bai we should take away pride sa atong self aron makasabot tag pag ayo sa ubang motives.... we should be sensitive and not just putting our own self interest for us to know how to listen to others.......

one thing i hate about most Filipinos in their "relationship" towards their religion is they try to mix it with their "naandan". oftentimes, inserting superstitions(ambot mao ba na spelling).

Sakto imong spelling. Another thing about Filipinos is that if they're older and professional e.g. already teaching they feel they're MORE SUPERIOR.

It's ironic that John Henry Cardinal Newman, like many others, wrote this when he was still not a Catholic. His rigorous theological and phil0sophical pursuit of proving that the Catholic Church was not the one, true Church of our Lord Jesus Christ made him a Catholic in the end, instead.

So to my fellow Protestants, be warned: Studying the Bible and history too much makes you a Catholic.

P.S. At least he was not pretending to be Catholic when he wrote this.

for spiritual discernment, we must test all things with God's Word as it is sufficient enough for doctrinal instruction, rebuking error and training in righteousness. - 2 Tim 3: 16. And we are only able to interpret these if we are guided by the Spirit of God 1 Jn 2: 27 that by faith in Christ we receive. Gal. 3: 14

Paul writes, if we or an angel in heaven should preach to you The Gospel in a way other than already preached, let him be accursed. - Gal. 1: 8

Because the entirety of God's Word is Truth. - Psalm 119: 160. One may be free to change religion but truth is unchanging. And experiences are most unreliable, likewise with trusting in man, because the flesh is of no avail when it comes to discerning things that are spiritual. The heart is most deceitful. - Jer. 17: 9 (NIV) He who trusts in man is accursed. - Jer. 17: 5 (NIV)

Ever since the curtain in the temple was torn down after Christ's death, (Jn 4: 21-24), access to God was now direct.

People, believers became the spiritual temple (1 Cor. 3: 16) and the only blameless religion taught in the Bible is love.

(Jn 13: 35, 1 Pet. 4: 8 ) Because Christ is The Rock, (Deut 32: 4, 15 NAB 1 Cor. 10: 4) and the True Vine (Jn 15: 5),Â* And just like Peter, the first ROCK or LIVING STONE in the building of God's spiritual temple, we too are living stones, with Christ as the cornerstone - 1 Pet. 2: 4, 5. Jesus changed Simon's name to Peter or Cephas meaning "Rock" or "Stone" as he was the first to profess that he believed Jesus was the Son of God. And he had the most active ministryÂ* (Acts 2) with the "keys of heaven" (The Good News) he won the hearts of many Jews, gentiles and unbelievers to Christ. Jesus does not have to change our name just as he did Peter, but we are also called to change out former self (Eph 4: 22-24), to a renewed mind (Rom 12:1, 2). And we are also the rocks or "Living Stones" coming to Christ The Living Stone - rejected by men but is in fact the Cornerstone. (1 Pet. 2: 4, 5) and The Rock (1 Cor. 10: 4), our spiritual foundation.

We are the branches, we who are baptized are all members of the church that Christ founded: ISRAEL OF GOD (Eph. 2: 19, 2 Sam. 7: 24) Therefore, there is NO room for any Christian denomination to claim to be the one true mystical Body of Christ. Likewise, there is no credibility for anyone to claim that they have the authority to interpret the Bible because only the Spirit of God can discern the thoughts of God and everything about what he has written. (1 Cor. 2: 11) No one knows it but the one who wrote it (Rev. 19: 11- 13) It is also written that anyone who goes beyond the teachings of Christ does not have God (2 Jn. 9 TEV.) By this, we should all go by the name Christian, it wasn't Luther, who died for us. Neither was it the Pope, or Mary, or Paul or any of the saints. It is right that we carry the name of the Messiah of whom we believe in instead of clinging to self-styled religious denominations. Indeed the church is the pillar and foundation of truth (1Tim. 3: 15 ) Consequently all who believe in the message that they preached are part of that church and are consecrated in Truth through the powerful prayer of Jesus Christ. (Jn. 17: 19 - 20 ) Christ is the True Vine (Jn 15: 5 ) not any "church" that claims so and we are the branches. The message of course is the Bible, the Word of God, it is God himself who gathered all the pieces with his spirit and put them as one. Nothing is lacking (Is. 34: 16, Rev. 22: 17 - 19 ) Even the institutions that claim authority equivalent to a Supreme Court will NOT see the light of dawn if they don't live according to the Word (Isaiah. 8: 20 )

Of course, which is every passage in the Bible, including those in the books the Protestants took out-- because it makes Sola Scriptura and Sola Fide look invisible...until you read it into the passages, which is such a faulty method.

Arguing is not synonymous with sharing. I know there are so many smart people when it comes to fend their personal beliefs. Claiming they are in "true religion" and have the right in heaven. Arguing with different views in the scriptures or gospel, but what these all about? Claiming that they have the "wisdom" which manifest from God? Wisdom to argue with other religious groups? Wisdom to convince and indoctrinate other religious groups? Wisdom to…what for?
