Let me answer your question and let me explain why it is a bit silly...

Why is there no feast of God the Father? Why are the Saints given their own days of celebration and why isnt our creator given his fair share?

Let me throw some questions back at you first for better understanding...

Is there a Philippines day? I dont think so but correct me if I am wrong, but there is a national heroes day right? there is an Independence day right? there is a Bonifacio Day right?

Now ask yourself why is that so?

A bit confused?.. come on think!

Okay I shall give you the answer... All of the heroes are celebrated for what they have done FOR the Country which in this case is the Phils. When you celebrate Rizal Day you celebrate the Country of Phils. When you Celebrate Independence Day you Celebrate the Phils.

Now I ask you is GOD the father worth only a DAY? or is He worth more than that? Everyday is a celebration of GOD. Everyday is a feast or fiesta of God! We Catholics celebrate more on days/fiestas in commemoration of how well that specific Saint/Man/Woman has served the will of God.... in short ang target is GOD gihapon...

If in your religion God is only worth a day then we are different because God is definitively not worth a day but much much more...

all these questions can be avoided if dili ta "one track mind" na pang daot lang gyud ang tumong. Faith with love as its roots is definitely better for me than a faith with hatred and negativity in mind. Try to answer your doubts and questions yourself first rather than blurting it out without even thinking.
