Tnx a lot guys..great help..tnx..more power to isotorya.net..![]()

I suggest you buy gigabit (10/100/1000 Mbps) switch and NICs. Linksys has it. Once you have the gigabit private network, the next thing that would bother you is the slow 512kbps internet connection.
If you go for hadcore and heavy network traffic, take a look at Cisco.
nye cisco purdoy ka diretso
yah, expensive ra kau cisco lge..grrrrr..![]()
they are network experts... ^_^
linksys / 3com combate kudasay na. hai.

if you are after for the price, then better have D-Link. If you go for cost-effective performance then get Linksys or 3Com.
Cisco are only for those who have fat pockets and are willing to invest on something that could withstand the heavy demand of networking.
Don't be shocked by the price of Cisco. Look at its features and you'll understand why they are that expensive. I'm not a Cisco promoter here anyway.
There are always something that would fit for you and it doesn't always mean to be expensive.
Advise lang na.
cost-effective performance then get Linksys or 3Com? are you sure......please check the specs almost all unmanage switches have the same specs....but the price differ....this is commodity pricing...Just like buying Guess pants it will cost you 2,000 but go to the factory where they are made you will be shocked it just cost 300-400...Its not cost-effective its BRANDING...
Well cisco has features which is also offered by others at a lower price point....In business price is king....there is always someone out there who sees an oppurtunity and offer the same package at a lower price point...that is free enterprise...Ever heard of Huawei a Chinese company which is the headache of Cisco....As long as somebody sees you are overcharging a product, competition will come in....Then it becomes a commodity....just like PC's, RAM, LAN card all are commodity they are made the same way there is little or no difference....
