so we must obey God's Law to identify sins.
so we must obey God's Law to identify sins.
Alright then. God bless you and NASYO.
I am not arguing with NASYO and this bible fundamentalist is not a big issue to me(trust me), you're putting words into my mouth again.

Your question is too personal bro, its just between me and him. But I believe in your belief that if we trust Jesus, have faith in him and do as he says, we will meet him in paradise. So the question is, if I have live up to that belief? My answer would be, "I am living to that belief to the best of my ability". I think I had said too much. I think I do accept Jesus as my personal Lord and savior.

@newtonscousin, I'm glad you have that wisdom. It's true that Bible must the the sole basis of faith. In God's master plan for salvation, He allowed the Bible to be written. He was the one who inspires the writers in this holy book. In other words, He is also the main author of that book. He did not left us hanging, guessing what are His laws, His will -- He gave us the Bible. Don't you know that everything written in the Bible is also under God's control? Look at the following verses:
Rev 22:18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.
You see, God is very concerned about everything that is written in His book. He made it sure that not even a single stroke or word will be added or removed from what should be written. Isn't the government of man is doing this? How much more about writing a book about God's laws? Why I'm saying these things? To show that the Bible is really a book that shows about God and His will. His laws are written in there. That's why it should be the sole basis of faith.
Where in the Bible that proves that God is controlling everything written in there? When John, the last apostle was in the island of Patmos, God showed him everything that had happened, that are happening, and that will be happening in the future through visions and sounds. We all know it's written in the book of Revelation. Everytime John sees a vision or hears a sound, he would write it. But amazingly, at one point, God prevented him to write what he had heard...
Rev 10:1-4 Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven. He was robed in a cloud, with a rainbow above his head; his face was like the sun, and his legs were like fiery pillars. He was holding a little scroll, which lay open in his hand. He planted his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land, and he gave a loud shout like the roar of a lion. When he shouted, the voices of the seven thunders spoke. And when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from heaven say,
"Seal up what the seven thunders have said and do not write it down."
Why did God, prevented John to write the words from the seven thunders? We don't know. Maybe, it's a very secret that we should not know it. Maybe part of his master plan.
So you see God is making it sure that everything that is written in the Bible are things that we should ought know. On the other hand, he is also making it sure that He did not include there the things that we should not know.
To summarize, the Bible is more than enough to be the sole basis of faith.
bcasabee, can you react on that post of iamnothing that the Bible is more than enough to be the sole basis of faith. He has verses to prove it.
PEACE!
you should not keep it a secret bro, abi palang, ikauwaw nimo nga naa naka ni Christ, diba?

Here is a nice Catholic website for you my friend. You will see here materials about almost anything regarding the Catholic Church. There is an online Bible available with some explanations. There are also nice wholesome articles which are not necessarily Catholic generated content. Feel free to wander around while I will try to find some answers for myself.
