In the face of many falsehood and deceptions, there is a greater need for evangelization now, more than ever. There is a greater challenge to let the people know the truth about our Catholic faith. It is only in knowing and understanding the truth we can come to live out the truth. And for us Catholics, the truth is not only a set of doctrines and dogmas. The truth is a Person with the face and name of JESUS CHRIST.

Tossed as we are by the different waves of trendy ideologies, our bedrock is none other than the Church that Jesus Christ founded with Simon Peter as its visible head. Regardless of public opinions and the onslaught of worldly thoughts that hammer against the church both inside and out, the community of disciples holds unto what the apostles teach and handed down because of the clear belief in the promise of Jesus that He will remain with His Church until the end of the times and that the gates of hell cannot prevail against it.

The many forms of assault against the Church and Her teachings are really proofs that She performs the work of God in Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit. It is evident enough that the Holy Apostles who have been the first leaders of the Church were consecrated in the in the truth and have been led into the truth.

In my opinion bro, they didn't accept the black nazarene statue as equal to Jesus Christ. I even admired them for their great faith on Jesus Christ, they thought that even touching his image, it can give a miracle to them.

In my opinion bro, i hope this won't sound too offending, that they accept the black nazarene (statue) as equal to Jesus, when it was only intended as a model. Wa na ang Ginoo sa yuta bro naa na siya sa langit. Also bro, mostly sa nakigdasok ato nga parade are aiming for miracles nga makalingkawas sila sa kapobrihon. And yet, God teaches through the bible the ways/secrets for us to receive blessings. Unya wa jud naapil ang pagpahidpahid sa mga rebulto.
