    [QUOTE=baliguat;2884252]opinion lang nako ni.

    Karon mangutana ko nimo. Tungod ba kay in ato ang nahitabo pasaqnginlan na dayon nimo ang Katoliko?
    Pasagdi ang tawo kung unsay iyahang pag too, kay Ginoo ray mag hukom dili ang tawo. And one thing wala mag sugo ang simbahan para mag stamped. kinsay gusto nga naay manga matay?QUOTE]

    Your right bro nga di gusto sa simbahan nga mag stamped og walay gusto mahitabo to. Ilahang pagtuo tingale ang dapat basulon. Unya bro, ang gisulti sa Ginoo magbinadlungay ta, dili magpasagdahay.

And for us Catholics, the truth is not only a set of doctrines and dogmas. The truth is a Person with the face and name of JESUS CHRIST.

    Tossed as we are by the different waves of trendy ideologies, our bedrock is none other than the Church that Jesus Christ founded with Simon Peter as its visible head. Regardless of public opinions and the onslaught of worldly thoughts that hammer against the church both inside and out, the community of disciples holds unto what the apostles teach and handed down because of the clear belief in the promise of Jesus that He will remain with His Church until the end of the times and that the gates of hell cannot prevail against it.

    The many forms of assault against the Church and Her teachings are really proofs that She performs the work of God in Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit. It is evident enough that the Holy Apostles who have been the first leaders of the Church were consecrated in the in the truth and have been led into the truth.

    In my opinion bro, they didn't accept the black nazarene statue as equal to Jesus Christ. I even admired them for their great faith on Jesus Christ, they thought that even touching his image, it can give a miracle to them.

    18 As he was speaking these things unto them, behold a certain ruler came up, and adored him, saying: Lord, my daughter is even now dead; but come, lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live.
    19 And Jesus rising up followed him, with his disciples.
    20 And behold a woman who was troubled with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment.
    21 For she said within herself: If I shall touch only his garment, I shall be healed.
    22 But Jesus turning and seeing her, said: Be of good heart, daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.

And yet, God teaches through the bible the ways/secrets for us to receive blessings. Unya wa jud naapil ang pagpahidpahid sa mga rebulto.

    Psa 115:2 Why may the nations say, Where is now their God?
    Psa 115:3 But our God is in heaven: he has done whatever was pleasing to him.
    Psa 115:4 Their images are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.
    Psa 115:5 They have mouths, but no voice; they have eyes, but they see not;
    Psa 115:6 They have ears, but no hearing; they have noses, but no sense of smell;
    Psa 115:7 They have hands without feeling, and feet without power of walking; and no sound comes from their throat.
    Psa 115:8 Those who make them are like them; and so is everyone who puts his faith in them

    arang daghanang pista ning mga Katoliko oi...pista ni San Pedro, San Juan, San Roque, San Antonio etc...

    pero wala lagi ko kadungog ug PISTA SA DIOS......?

    hmmmmmm.....

    Rom 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

    imbis ang Creator ang angay pistahan, ang creature na hinuon ang gipistahan....

    Rom 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

    If their faith is really that great, why will they use images?
