Try stargazing on a moonless and clear night sky at the summit of Mt. Halcon (8,000ft +) overlooking Calapan, Mindoro and breath its cold mountain air or if you got enough money take a picture of yourself with the sunrise at your background at Low's Peak (4,000+) Mt Kinabalu Sabah, Malaysia and you'll feel the magnanimity of God's creations.

Been to Lowe's Peak bro, but for me nawala ang essence of being a mountaineer. They are not allowing you to camp & bring your (full gear) backpack up to the summit coz they got a cabin already in every camp. Halcon is fantastic but the only thing right now, the park is still CLOSED!

My best experienced includes: G2, Mt. Kanla-on, Sierra Madre (Chico River), D2, Mt. Apo (via Agco), Halcon, Pulag. For me, you must include this places in your wish list if you are a newbie in mountaineering.

wow you must earn a living for climbing.
i don't have that much experience like you do. i don't even call myself a mountaineer yet whatever that means.
re: essence of being a mountaineer...camping and carrying full gear to the summit - i've never been an advocate of heavy gears i got back injury so i pack as light as i could.
i remember going down from laban rata and meeting two british teens with sleeveless shirt and a tennis shoes, they made me look funny with all the Columbia suits and Hi-Tec boots i was wearing.
