ATI 4870 crossfire trashes the GTX280. and 2x4870 ($300) is $40 cheaper than 1 GTX280 ($640).

Sigh, I guess I got the wrong card at the wrong, time maypa nihuwat nalang ko kadyut tsk tsk. Anyway, when the 3870x2 will go cheaper, ill get one more for crossfire setup lang gihapon. Really want to test 4 cores.

3870x2 pretty much neck in neck with 4870. So a good buy.

ang kaatbang sa 4870 is 9800gtx. pero lupig ang 9800gtx sa presyo. nvidia cant beat the price per performance of the 4850/4870. the problem is the heat but i think masulbad rana with newer drivers. the asus 4850 has the smart fan software than can control the speed of the fan. it can lower it to 50-60 degrees. by default hinay ang fan speed mao init cya pero dili saba.

technically, nvidia's GTX 280 is more powerful... but with the price difference of the two... no question... ATI wins... best value for money card...
