The good =more money and more income and hopefully the government will be aware on how to preserve our beautiful place, the same as the locals

The bad = prostitution will rise and most Filipinos don't know or refused to use condom in practising safe ***. Herpes is normal in the US and there is no cure for it, it's a virus and it's contagious .

Descrimination is everywhere and in my experience daghan descrimination sa atong nasud compared to the other countries.

Good point!!! Many people here in iSTORYA, as expected of typical Filipinos, are in denial, thinking Filipinos are Goody Goody, God-loving, disciplined people.... They tend to forget how many Filipinos rape children, their own daughters, sons, niece, nephews, then KILL them. Well, we don't call fellow Filipinos PEDOPHILES, for some reason some of us think Filipinos are exempted from being called as such.... We just call them MANYAKIS..... We Filipinos should be happy that we have a booming Tourism Industry because compared to our neighbors we LAG in that area... Our Tourism volume is mediocre compared to that of Hongkong, Singapore, Thailand and even Vietnam .... Case in point, Singapore with a land area as big as Cebu has 9.6 million tourist arrivals in 2006, Philippines has 2.8 million...Vietnam has 2.9 million tourist arrivals in 2004. Thailand has 13.3 million and Hong Kong has 25.5 million tourist arrivals in 2006. LOL COMPARED to our neighbors our TOURISM INDUSTRY IS A JOKE.

We Filipinos also tend to forget that we are everywhere, NOT AS TOURISTS BUT OFWs. If we go hard on tourists
from a particular country what if that particular country will go hard on our OFWs Have we ever thought about that?

Korakak! ahaha. Bitaw, let us be happy nalang to see a lot of tourist in Cebu. Sa Thailand gani, mura sila didto ug US kay daghan mga puti og itom. If you are in Thailand, it feels like you are in the US hehe. Pero dire sa ato, gamay pa gani ato tourists, mu react na dayon ta hehe.

im also promoting Cebu dri sa Europe particularly sa Central Europe...ni attend kog siminar last friday about Tourism.then nag himo kog survey about Cebu unsay masulti nila about Cebu and the Philippines kato nakaadto na tanan.mao ni ila mga complains and positive things about Cebu.

1.takes about 22 hours from Central Europe to Cebu,kay wala naman direct flight,not like before naay PAL.
2.toilets...hugaw daw atoang toilets,mostly lisod daw pangita ug limpyo nga WC or CR sa Cebu..sometimes ang malls daw walay toilet papers and ang uban dili daw mo flush.
3.wala daw klaro nga maps ang Cebu...like lisod daw e trace ang mga maps nga gihatag or napalit nila sa deparment store.kay mag usab2x daw ang dalan or route sa jeepneys.
4.Taxi: daghan daw mangililad nga taxi drivers sa Cebu,which is true but ok ra na kay daghan pod diri sa Europe mangingilad nga taxi driver.hehehe
5.Overpricing daw ang Hotels sa Cebu esp. Lapu-Lapu city.5 star hotel daw but ang rooms and service dili daw equivalent for a 5 star hotel.

positive things about Cebu:

1.grabe ka friendly ang mga local nationals (mga CEBUANO hurray!!!)
2.dili daw sila maglisud ug communicate cuz everybody speaks English and understand English
3.Cebu is Cheaper 10 times than most cities in Europe.nindot daw mag shopping
4.Speaking of shopping,bisan XXL daw nga shirt dili daw mainsakto sa ilaha gagmay daw atong sizes diri but still barato ra daw compare to European prices.
5.the best daw ang food sa Cebu.and daghan daw varity of exotic fruits esp. mango daw which is 12 euro per kilo diri sa Central Europe.
6.nice beaches surrounding Cebu Island.
