these 2 lens are wide angle right? so theres no use for f2.8, most lens i see for UWA are f4. just my opinion anyway.

I bought the 24-105mm and later on returned it and did the replacement for the 24-70mm

so now, your opinion and suggestions will really count.

sir crashburn, i already set my budget and the max I can give out is the EF-S 10-22mm. The 16-35 is good but way out of budget na.

hehe tried this lenses na so far ang tokina is good but sa wide niya medyu nay distortion nya ifu put morethan 2 screwin filter klaro kaayo iyang vignetting, nya iyang 2.8 is not that sharp so far ang 3.5 niya is sharp enough from 16 to 11, nya medyo di accurate ang spot mettering niya sa camera inig taod
pero barato ra sya,
for canon 10-22 gamay ra ang lens distortion compare sa tokina nga medyu nai pagka semi fisheye view sa widest, mas accurate sad ang light metter niya from wide, center or spot.

pero ngita ka barato i would go for tokina or sigma, tutal iyang flaws ma ayu ra btaw sa photoshop

I like wide maximum apertures in my lenses but for wide-angle ones, I agree with the comment above.

Dili kaayo kinahanglan ang 2.8 basta wide angle where most uses are for optimum DOF and best used with a tripod. Go for the Canon.

ask lang ko kung kana imong 24-70 is sigma ba ni? kai plano ko palit nxt month sigma 24-70 f2.8, nindut ba ni na lens bai? according sa imo experience ani na lens nindut ba iinvest ani na lens?

this is a canon ef 24-70mm f/2.8..i have no experience yet with 3rd party lenses...
