				We have our own beliefs. As a Catholic, that is what we believe. Outside the Church there is no salvation. Deal with it. Truth is absolute. For us the truth is only what is taught in the Catholic Church. 
Now we do not say that those who are NOT Catholics are bad per se. What we are trying to say is that you might be a good person but you have no vehicle for salvation because in the first place you dont ride it.
We are mot self righteous. While we are Catholics, we do not claim that we will be saved automatically. We have to work on it. If we sin and be separated from God's grace we also cannot be saved.
I dont want to ostracize people that dont belong to RCC. Its your choice. We are just sending you our warning from our perspective.
			
		 
	 
 just to comment on the lines in bold.
it is but ironic that you have to work for your salvation and yet be possibly saved by others thru prayer. when a person dies a sinner, i do not understand how marathon masses could lift them up from hell to purgatory (if there is such a dimension) or heaven.
the way i see it, you have made the Catholic Church your own god and saviour - for without it, you could never be saved.
