I'm not a pro, but from the reviews I've read. 10-22mm is better.

OEM lenses are always better since they are design for that particular product but there are alot of third party lenses that give you almost the same optical quality at a fraction of the cost. So for budget conscious hobbyist like me, I would go with the third party equivalent.

10-22 lagi para dile ka malibog, although nindot ang f2.8 pero mas nindot ang 10-22

if canon user ka, go for canon. canon lens are for canon so no other issue to worry, since you compare the two lens, i guess you have a budget for 1 of the two right? so gor for canon lens and enjoy it. hehehe
