Laptop Specs: Needs 2nd Opinion Guys

Gud day istoryans.

I'm planning to buy a laptop with the following specs:


OS: Vista Home Premium SP1
CPU: Intel Core2Dou T8100 (2.1GHz)
Chipset: Mobile Intel PM965 Express
RAM: 3Gb [DDR2 667MHz]
Video: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600
HDD: 250GB 5400rpm SATA

Does any of the hardware have known issues?
Or any combination of the said hardwares have compatibility issues?


Knowing that vista is a memory hog
i dont know if i can still play decent games on the said machine.

Planning also to upgrade to ulimate vista and upto 4gig memory.
Gamiton pud also for development.
More likely (netbean,eclipse and oracle tools running together or .Net-based dev't)

vista ultimate is 64bit
4gb or more....

hd 2600 and its upgrade is hd3650 mid range gaming....

i heard microsoft isnt trying too much to push vista anymore because the problems are horrendous daw..

they're cashing in on the WINDOWS 7 idea... things like that

If I downgrade the OS to XP Pro still the same hardware,
I think I could do more stuff and better gaming.

That if u'll find drivers for such devices for xp.
Sa akoa lang, kapuliki jud tawn ko pangita. Still end up using vista. Pero okay ra man. Ayaw lang padala sa ubang tawo na mokumento na bati ang certain na software or hardware, etc, kay wa gani na sila'y ilaha. Copy-paste ra.

This is a very good specs., make sure your budget would be above 70k, and you can find a lot of brand choices. good luck

maka request ka ug graphics card aside from 2600? i heard that the card has issues...

Get a laptop with GF9500 gs 512mb dedicated plus 744 hypermemory total of 1.2gig videoram, videocard i have mine in my Asus m50sv so far the best murag pcie sa desktop ug performance, powerful enough for today's games and 3d rendering softwares...

I just found a laptop almost the same price with different hardware specs.
Actually 2-3K higher.

Well choice 2 offers faster processor and higher RAM.
But I don't know the video card performance so as the chipset as far as choice 2 is concerned.

sakto ni cya bro...parehas sa akong g.set.up nga laptop for my friend,just recently,nagkapuliki sad kog pangita ug tarong nga drivers para sa XP...kron na ok ok na nuon pro ang probs nlng nko kron ky ang iyang wireless internet ky dle mo gana,cge lng ug "acquiring network address" kuno...nya dle pjd malahos ug shutdown...mo hang cya dd2 dpit sa "windows is shutting down..." den i have to hold the power button para ma off njd cya..
