Which Religion is True?
With what I posted above, how can one be consecrated in truth if he still practices falsehood and deceit? You are right.... what I posted and in context of what you have just posted.Matthew 15:
15:7 You hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy of you, saying,
15:8 'These people draw near to me with their mouth, And honor me with their lips; But their heart is far from me.
15:9 And in vain do they worship me, Teaching as doctrine rules made by men.'"
15:10 He summoned the multitude, and said to them, "Hear, and understand.
15:11 That which enters into the mouth doesn't defile the man; but that which proceeds out of the mouth, this defiles the man."
Nice one giver-bert!
Sometimes we quote scriptures just to "quote" and not living by it, when that is what we should do. Â*We quote verses to support that good works is also necessary for salvation, but cannot be certain whether they are good enough to enter heaven.
Unsa man diay ang tinuod nga relihiyon? Â*Dacs, Hounded, s.n.m.p., and mannyamador are one in saying nga catholic church ra gyud. Â*
A lot of us here doubt it basing history and the bible.
Mao ni ang naka interesting ani!
To illustrate Tolstoi's and MrBiddle's point...
yes, Those who profess Jn. 3: 16 will be saved but in context of 1 Jn 5: 5 which boldly asserts that we have to overcome persistense in sin and worldly pleasures because according to the latter verse if we don't overcome it is still tantamount to unbelief
Websniper,
according to the Bible blameless religion is love Jn 13: 35
Which is why as Cardinal I am petitioning for an elimination of the excess baggage taught in the RCC. ;b Read my early post above about The Eucharist.Unsa man diay ang tinuod nga relihiyon?Â* Dacs, Hounded, s.n.m.p., and mannyamador are one in saying nga catholic church ra gyud.Â*

In that post, it complements what Von-X! is reminding us to live by the Scriptures.
The allegorical meaning of
Truly, truly I tell you my flesh is real flesh and my blood is real blood, whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood
will inherit eternal life
There are some distortions to this verse which actually means obedience and living by what is written.
@cardinal bunal: Do religion and blameless religion the same?
In Jn. 13:35, it never mentioned that "love" is a blameless religion.
I was speaking in context of what has been argued in this thread over and over.@cardinal bunal: Do religion and blameless religion the same?
In Jn. 13:35, it never mentioned that "love" is a blameless religion.
The errors of heterodoxy, Communism and Aetheistic Materialism are just as devastating.
Christianity isn't a religion, it's a lifestyle.
And in context of Tolstoi's and Von-X's reminders it is still infidelic or unreligious if we don't go by the
"one another" commands if you know what I mean.
Are you an aetheist? Ako I used to be an agnostic but when I saw the Scriptural signficance of historical, geopolitical and paranormal events I became a believer. But I was raised Roman Catholic though....
Websniper,
I'll throw the question back to you.@cardinal bunal: Do religion and blameless religion the same?
In the Christian marriage is being bethrothed to someone and sleeping with other women a sign of fidelity?
in that verse, it is implied that people will know we are His disciples if we love one another But there
have been additional and uneccessary doctrinals over the years....
@Cardinal Bunal:
Our conversation somehow getting nowhere already. What Im only ask is that "Which Religion is True?" Then, you answered me with a text from bible (Jn. 13:35) "a blameless religion is LOVE". I go over that particular text in the bible, it never mentioned the love is blameless religion. If we defined "love" in any sources, you and I can't find the exact word or words to be proved and it does satisfy your claims that "love" is a blameless religion.
I tell you brother, Im not an atheist but only a candid Christian.
