ang ako nasabtan sa post ni bro bcasabee kay we trust our priests to be correct in the celebration of the mass, just as we trust the surgeon when they operate patients, the lawyers when they manifest in court, the public accountants when they give opinion regarding the financial statements, the civil engineers when they make buildings and other professionals. because these professionals, just like our priests, spent years of education in their own field and passed the requirements/experiences to do so.

Hehehehe...sige nitoo ko nimo bro SPIKE, kay tinood man sad jud nga naay verse. So, unsa may atoang makutlo nga pagtulon-an aning atoang langtugi karon bro SPIKE?

Ang ganahan nako mahibaw-an ang pagtulon-an. Anyway, to give due credit to you. Sakto ka sa Bible details. Pero, kana man gud imong baba wala say brake.
Unsa gani to?

2132 The Christian VENERATION OF IMAGES is not contrary to the first commandment which proscribes idols. Indeed, "the honor rendered to an image passes to its prototype," and "whoever VENERATES AN IMAGE venerates the person portrayed in it." The honor paid to sacred images is a "respectful veneration," not the adoration due to God alone:

sorry bro spike, but i don't foresee the wordings below as an "image itself", please pardon me, because we have different understanding.

Religious worship is not directed to images in themselves, considered as mere things, but under their distinctive aspect as images leading us on to God incarnate. The movement toward the image does not terminate in it as image, but tends toward that whose image it is.
