guys, im new here and im very interested with rc hobby .

ill be in Hong Kong next week, have seen some shops there (on my previous trip) with a lot of RC stuff.

any guidelines who can share on what to buy? im more interested with the gas type rc's since mura sad ug tinuod with the engine and all. are there sizes too that i should take into consideration?

if i buy in HK are there spare parts here in cebu that we could buy in case we need to replace in the future. what brands do we have here? and the consumables like the fuel being used is it availbable in cebu? i notice it was greenish in color.

you can go to kwong hwa street in MongKok. I dont know if the shops were affected by the recent zonings done in HK but its worth a try. also you can try rcmart.com its based in hongkong also.

if you would buy gas powered models, i suggest you get kyosho. Parts are very much available here in the Philippines and more particulary here in cebu. Although there maybe some parts that maybe out of stock here, it can always be ordered from manila.

if you're a beginner and want to try gas powered RC, try to buy the one with the pull start engine. thats all. but the new trend now is the EP drift. so you might not enjoy your nitro RC when you get one.
