Lorna Tolentino’s filmmaker son Ralph has announced he’s making a documentary on moments spent with his recently departed dad, Rudy Fernandez, and what he and his brother Renz, far right, learned from those moments. One life lesson that Daboy liked sharing with his kids: “Sabi ng matatanda, may dalawang klase tao—‘yung nanloloko at ‘yung nagpapaloko. Sabi ko sa mga anak ko, may pangatlo—‘yung di nanloloko at di nagpapaloko.”
