I know people who have their entire home network over power lines. I talked with jiggy about this and we concluded that this would probably never work in the PH because of the overall dirty power that runs through the lines. You would need something between your house and the city lines that cleans the power and keeps it stable. A generator/UPS or some sort for your whole house will probably work.

Vern is quiet right. As long the power companies here can't provide a stable clean power supplied to us, BPL will be out of reach.
