Im not Atheist or Agnostic..I do believe in the metaphysical concept that there is a GOD, and that i'm God's wonderful creature..Atheist/agnostics cud not conceive the fact that everything in this world is supernatural..they only believe in scientific/physical facts..WYSIWYG

Its funny though that scientists cud not unravel all the mysteries of the universe..mystery like who created life..etc..they are making lots of theories but they have a hard time proving them as absolute facts..

mind if I ask something MrBiddle?..Are you an Atheist/Agnostic??..or varients of it??..this is juz for the purpose of discussion coz i was baffled on yur true nature of belief..firstly yu are discussing bible verses on the above posts and i know for a fact that a true atheist (like GAREB) dismisses the bible as words of God, for the reason that he doesn't believe His existence in the first place

Aww, abi nako aetheist ka bro.. I believe in Christ and the Bible as the innerant Word of God. Although I'll leave it to other people if my morales and character deserve the title "Christian".

I was discussing philos.phy and oxy*****s because of some so-called "contradictions" in the Scriptures. To illustrate - Thou shalt not be gay isn't the ten commandments. So God doesn't condemn faggots? Correct, but faulty logic

By the way Friedreich Nietze, according to some wasn't necessarily an aetheist. But his statement God is dead was a lamentation because of there was a point in his time when human decadence has reached it's pinnacle.Â* Similarly, Immanuel Kant who formulated the Categorical Imperative has supported the Christian religion so that we will have a basis for morales and so that there will be no anarchy. (There's an ANARCHY thread in this forum)

So hence the Categorical Imperative

"Act on something that is supported universally by general principle at the service of good will"

Thus discussions and debates on abortion or euthanasia and the like can utilize the Categorical Imperative by Kant. And lastly, Black Eyed Peas lagi nang "Practice What You Preach". j/k

The study of philsophy isn't frivolous in the Roman Catholic priesthood, because one will be able to discern fallacies and faulty logic from clear and distinct truths. But users like Obese Bo Ricardo in here or some of the more insightful posts by Meganda or S.N.M.P. warn us that God dismisses phisophy as "human wisdom", which to His eyes is nonsense.

So before any glib talker can condemn me, God already has:

anywayz i admit that i can't contribute some hardcore philosophical stance on this thread since i have limited knowledge on this matter, and i felt lazy to consult mr google...nevertheless, there is one thing that i can impart here..

Anyway there is a Christian author who wrote "Rumours of Another World" who admits that he gets aroused by Anna Kournikova or even by J. Lo.... without being so graphic, are there any evangelists here who might be able to shed some light on this issue?

"Rumours" is a book published by OMF Literature the same publishers of PDL by Rick Warren.

As believers we seem to have been focusing so much here on religious allegiances and our statement of faith but what about on the topic of lust? Anyone?

im not saying that i'm perfect, that i'll be the only person in this thread who can be admitted in heaven for not being a hypocrite...tis the reason why im not blabbing more than i can carry out..however i do believe that for the purpose of discussion, it wud be healthy to convey all personal inputs regarding the subject matter..its juz that i'm only imparting a "reminder" that somehow we should mull on that black eyed peas song
